T’moors again…

I had a windy trip up to the moors again this afternoon – not a lot about in the blustery conditions up there, but I did manage to see 20 red grouse and a brief view of a hobby.

On the way back through Cowell Flat, I came across a family group of reed buntings, including these confiding and photogenic juveniles (note they’re generally streakier than females).
