I’m off out early tomorrow to join the Sheffield Bird Study Group‘s raptor-watching field meeting at Windy Corner near Howden Reservoir. I’m hoping to get one lifer (goshawk), a near UK-lifer (raven, which I haven’t seen in Britain since I was a kid), and a good year tick (peregrine).
Unfortunately, the weather forecast looks a little bit ominous, so it could all be a washout. I’ll let you know how I get on!

Hope the weather does`nt put the Raptors off. Good luck with your target species, Peter.
